he most important observation from the launch of the Vision Pro glasses is that Apple is strongly focused on its customer and on delivering maximum product value to them.
Work on Vision Pro dragged on because Tim Cook wanted to be absolutely certain that what he was showing off would appeal not only to a take telegram advertising service bunch of geeks like you and me, but also to the global middle class that would pay for it.
The company even thought about adding an external display to the product roadmap that is supposed to show your eyes to others around you (the glasses are opaque) for better communication while wearing the Vision Pro.
Note that while the Vision Pro is packed with AI, Apple’s presentation barely mentions AI. Tim Cook knows that AI won’t sell a product to a busy mother or someone who wants a home theater while traveling by plane.

Apple leaves Meta behind
Meta presented a new model of its VR headset last week. Compared to its predecessor, Quest 3 is lighter and more comfortable to use, and has fans data better graphics. The VR goggles are to go on sale this fall. The company also announced that players will soon be able to play almost 20 new VR games (using the Quest set, of course). However, the Meta’s premiere looks really pale in comparison to what the Cupertino giant showed a few days later. During WWDC 2023, Apple presented Vision Pro, undoubtedly the most technologically advanced VR/AR goggles.
