How I find new products on Amazon
The process I follow is not necessarily the most suitable for you. About three or four years ago I had this dream of launching my own brand related to the world of collectible toys. In my head I was aware that it might not be such a good idea telegram database users list because in the end it is a niche and the “Amazon experts” do not recommend you act this way.
In the end, in my case, those who say “follow your passion” were somewhat right. I am not 100% in agreement with this either, because doing that can be very bad advice for many people.
In my case, or rather in our case, “following our passion” has led us to find a type of product within our niche that has a volume of 10 million euros per year if I add up all the European markets and all the product sales that there are on Amazon right now. That is the reason why we are going to bet on this product.
What an Amazon expert would tell you
An Amazon expert would tell you to analyze the market with data. There is a somewhat random search process where you start from one topic website to have a better ranking and jump to the next to find surprising products that may be interesting in terms of what it invoices. You can find out the invoice data with tools such as Junglescout or Helium10.
You can replace the creative part by copying and improving something that already exists. That obviously also reduces your risk of failure. If you are rational enough to act in this way by launching products that do not excite you, then this is your path.
The path that combines emotion with data
That is our path, I would say. I have tried more or less but I don’t want to launch products just because they make good money and offer an opportunity according to all the indicators you can analyze. In the end money isn’t everything australia data and I do this to enjoy it. Life is too short to be guided purely by economics.
We started by identifying a need in our market with a protector where we knew there was demand, although small, and that could be a starting point to begin to establish ourselves as a brand in the world of collectible toys.
